The mood here tends toward the unhurried, marked by soft conversations and the subtle hum of shared meals. It’s the kind of restaurant where you can focus on simple pleasures—the warmth of a freshly made roti, the rich aroma wafting from a handi, or the comforting sizzle of barbecued kababs being prepared with care. The kitchen honors tradition with its flavors, presenting dishes that feel homely and familiar yet thoughtfully crafted.

From tender malai boti to the vibrant spices of chicken madrasi handi, each bite mirrors a story of time-honed recipes and the passion for balanced taste. The overall ambiance of the Swad restaurant was beautiful, really cool. The food was delicious, especially their chicken karahi which was full of flavor. The sandwich was also really tasty, but the zinger burger had less chicken and more crispy coating, and the sauces were a bit lacking, making it a bit dry. But overall, it was worth it and the restaurant had great flavors

One of the best grill fish in the town and there must try kalmi tikka.

Sawad Family Restaurant is perfect if you want a peaceful, uncrowded place with lovely ambiance; I really enjoy the calm atmosphere. Food quality is hit-and-miss: some dishes are very tasty, but others feel compromised. Barbeque items taste like they’re made from frozen stock. Tea is the biggest disappointment; often served cold, in cracked cups, and portion varies from full to half-empty. Sometimes you wait over 20 minutes just for a cup of chai. Staff is extremely polite and patient; if something is wrong, they happily redo it without any attitude. Overall, it has great potential. With consistent food quality, hotter tea in proper cups, faster service, and a bit of professional training for staff, this place could easily become a favorite. Right now it’s good only when you’re looking for quietness over perfection. I’ll keep coming for the vibe, but I hope management brings the much-needed improvements soon.

Had a dinner at Swad with cousins Cool and calm ambience with nice sitting space. Staff is friendly and courteous. We ordered Beef Kabab, Malai Boti, and Madrasi Handi. Ordered Chicken Namkeen Tikka, which they forgot or somehow mixed with someone else's order and didn't serve us Beef Kababs were too good but very overpriced. 4 for 1000 Malai boti was good in taste over-marinated and was slightly under cooked Madras Handi was just average in taste, small in portion as compared to the price My personal opinion: Overall, it was a nice place. Things could become better if they slightly improve their food quality and adjust the pricing

Had a dinner with family here. Tried their special chicken karahi and malai boti. Karahi was good, but malai boti wasn't up to the mark. Ambiance is awesome. A play area for kids is also available. Recommended for families.

Sawad offers good views and comfortable seating. While the food is flavorful, service falls short. With improved efficiency and food consistency, it's a recommended dining spot.
